And though this is helpful for hearing what is going on, the drum part flies by so quick it is hard to hear everything that is being played. By taking the audio and slowing it down to half-speed, we can hear more clearly what is going on:
At this speed, it almost feels too slow, yet it is easier to hear what is being played. Also at this speed, it is much easier to transcribe the drum part, and though there are published transcriptions available I believe you will always learn more if you take the time to make your own transcriptions (and often the published transcriptions have mistakes). Transcribing will help you develop a better sense of listening, and build your notation skills as well.
